Rae is a bitter art school dropout with big dreams, Cindy is a reformed cornfield suburbanite, and the two are trying to become a wildly successful pop duo. Problem is, they suck. But their career does start seeing results, for better or for worse, after a chance encounter with a reject god fallen from the sky.
